The webinar will be presented by Dr Chris Mullen from Kinewell Energy who holds a PhD in the modelling of energy storage. Kinewell Energy are award winning, recognised industry game changers and experts in offshore wind design optimisation, using advanced mathematics and AI.
Kinewell’s Dr Chris Mullen will share the findings from the recent Ofgem Hydrogen Cost Reduction (HyCoRe) project. In the Alpha phase of the project Kinewell Energy assessed the sizing of hydrogen storage to mitigate curtailment. In addition we used all of our optimisation tools, KWOTA, KLOC and KDOTS to show what an hydrogen producing windfarm would look like.
